Yeah,I am BACK!!!Got miss me people?I turned tanned,that's is obvious:)
Well,for the 1st day,I regretted going for OBS and I doubt I will survive and on the first day when I reached Punggol Jetty,I parted with a heavy heart with my GESS SLs:(Well,we got to know each other form each different schools and set off towards western part of Ubin and had our tents pitched there.Well,before that was some logistic packing and had lunch there.Night was worst,it rained when everyone was cooking and yeah,cleaned and slept.Tues:Had some start on some activities(Belay and kayaking)Yeah,I screamed for both;(Sorry!And had our breakfast there and lunch and dinner was cooked in the forest...Plus,having to trek up to one of the highest point in darkness and heavy bag load is SUCKY and more SUCKY!Cooked in the dark and went off to sleep with aching back and shoulders.....Well,not really nice die to snorings!!!Wah seh,damn loud!Woke up and had to repack my bag and had land expedition;the need to use the map and locate the places to lead us to the next campsite that we are supposed to stay for Wed.Well,trekking was really tough due to the ehavy bag load and bad weather(very sunny worr)and our first checkpoint was the German girl shrine and Ann told us the origin of it and this attracted quite a number of tourists.Columbus went in to pray for the safety of everyone;)Thanks!Well,it sort of bond us more closely together and Ben with Brian entertained YiRu and me a lot with songs!Nice:)Yeah,trek up to Pakua and it SUCKED 'cos very hard to trek up with steep slopes okay?Yeah,seen q quarry and shouted ridiculous things 'cos of the echoes and yeah,went to our next campsite;BEACH!So wonderful and fantastic!Bleargh and had our usual sharings there and had dinner:)Before that,had a briefing on Thur's sea expedition by Charles and sea ex leaders after that and off to sleep again!Well,teared 'cos I missed home and MrH when I saw the city lights of mainland Singapore:(Thanks my sister,YiRu for being there:)Well,here comes Thurs!Well,I love it and I kayaked about 3/4 of Ubin in heavy rain,wind and sun:)Damn tiring about 6-7 hours of non-stop paddling and ate lunch in the sea(with the waves)and it was really niceeeeee(: Love my Columbus and yeah,back to the own campsite and had the best feast on my life(= cooked by my dear Columbus mates and Charles shared a very nice story which goes like this:There was once a carpenter which is skilled in carpenting and anything that the boss tasked him to do,he will be able to carve it into a very beautiful item and one day,the carpenter felt very tired.He wanted to resign and he decided to tell his boss that he wanted to enjoy the last days of his life and he had made enough money for the company as well.Therefore,the boss agreed and asked him to build one more house before he leave and any use of any materials is perfectly okay.The carpenter felt very agitated.He got so fed up that he decided to use the cheapest wood to build.One day after building,he threw the keys at his boss and asked if he can go.The boss then replied and said;this house was meant to be for you;fpr the hard work and sweat that you had gave and also any use of materials is okay.The boss is willing to pay.Lastly,the carpenter got very upset and left...I find the story very nice and meaningful.(: Lastly,on Fri,we did some logistic and admininstration matters and had a mini morning circle which comprised of 2 morning circles and went off to Singapore.I missed my OBS people!Thinking back of dreading and scared of it and complained...I suddenly regretted and felt that it was really nice after all;)Through OBS,I learnt many theories regarding leadership and I will never forget about it because it is very useful for any future activities:)Love and miss COLUMBUS and yeah,QINGWEI!You better STOP disturbing me!;)I will be more brave like what you mentioned okay?:)
